Greetings Angler,

As the epic winter of 2007-2008 has passed officially into March, our thoughts turn to spring, a huge run-off, and full rivers throughout another great season of fishing in the high country.

Can't wait to get out there?  Enjoy the following information on early spring fishing from Dragonfly Anglers, out FishingTravelNetwork.com partner:

"Feb/Mar/Apr: Days are getting longer and the fishing heats up incredibly. Nymph fishing for aggressively feeding Rainbows and Browns on the Gunnison and East Rivers can be the best nymphing of the year. The fish are on the take after a sluggish winter as water temperatures are reaching levels conducive for feeding trout. This is pre-runoff fishing and it can be great."

Thank you for checking in today.  Thanks to Dragonfly Anglers for the report.
