The Catch Fishing Report

With Crested Butte Mountain Resort reiving 11 inches of snow in the past three days, the afternoon sunshine is adding fresh water to the lower basin.  Many sections of water have ice present, but the fishing is active in areas of open flow.  Check out this current look at fishing conditions from Troutfitter Sports:


EAST RIVER   n/a CFS @ Almont
Frozen. Try CB South Bridge or near Roaring Judy.

TAYLOR RIVER n/a CFS @ Almont

Catch and Release section fishing good during warm periods.

GUNNISON RIVER n/a CFS @ town of Gunnsion

Try Mcabes lane or anywhere there is open water.

BLACK CANYON 1610 CFS

Gunnsion river near pleasure park is always a treat and you should go despite all the work you have to do.
