The Catch Fishing Report

Willowfly Anglers at Three Rivers Resort and Outfitting reports active fishing on the lower Taylor River and rapidly improving conditions on the Gunnison River.  Productive flys on the lower Taylor River include: Orange Prince Nymphs, Green Copper Johns, Flash-Back Seven Tail #12-16.  
For an active surface fly try the Patriot #16.  Try the following at the Taylor River Catch and Release Area: Micro May Flies, Disco Midge, Barr Emerger #20.
On the Gunnison River use: Dry Caddis at night and keep an eye on an upcoming Stonefly hatch.  Three Rivers also notes that water flows are on the decrease and fishing is becoming more active every day.
