We have guests fishing with Willowfly Anglers at Three Rivers Resort and Outfitting, where the Taylor River is running clear. The Taylor is dam released, so waters stay mostly un-clouded most of the year.
I was up the Slate River yesterday and from talking with the kayakers, was able to ascertain that water flows in the upper basin will remain high for probably 10-14 days before gradually mellowing. Fishing the side tributaries in the watershed continues to be your best bet for now.
