Daily Catch Fishing Report 05-15-06
Good Morning,
Rain showers in the late afternoon/evening yesterday, brought welcome moisture to the upper watershed. In addition, temperatures were mild with significant effects on river flows including the Slate River currently up to 608 cfs, East River near Crested Butte up to 1.150 and 1,200 at Almont. Check the 7-day history of these rising flows on our USGS River Flow page at FishCrestedButte.com.
Yesterday afternoon the East River off Brush Creek trail head was offering nice eddy lines and some stretches of flat water. We'll keep an eye on this warming trends effects on cfs flows and it's effect on fishing conditions. Thanks for checking in today.
Fish-on!
