Daily Catch Fishing Report 05-07-06
Good morning,
Yesterday I traveled to Blue Mesa Reservoir, west of Gunnison, for the Blue Mesa Fishing Tournament. This annual angling rite of spring brings 120 two-person teams to the area is search of monster lake trout. Blue Mesa was flat calm early and stayed pretty fish-able all day as a result of light winds. We fished from shore with no luck, however many boats were actively bringing in fish. We'll post official results as soon as they're available.
