The Catch Fishing Report

Good morning,

It's nice and sunny in Crested Butte on this first morning of May!  Yesterday we had afternoon wind, rain, and a few flurries, however it was nice before noon.  Comfortable fishing weather in the morning and spring weather systems later in the day appear to be the current fishing weather trend.  Look for spring run-off to continue in the main stretches of the East, Slate, and Gunnison Rivers.  Check out the lower Taylor River near Almont for nice fishing today.
